Song For a Sunday ~ I Will Follow You
Where you go, I'll go
Where you stay, I'll stay
When you move, I'll move
I will follow...
All your ways are good
All your ways are sure
I will trust in you alone
Higher than my sight
High above my life
I will trust in you alone
Where you go, I'll go
Where you stay, I'll stay
When you move, I'll move
I will follow you
Who you love, I'll love
How you serve I'll serve
If this life I lose, I will follow you
I will follow you
Light unto the world
Light unto my life
I will live for you alone
You're the one I seek
Knowing I will find
All I need in you alone, in you alone
In you there's life everlasting
In you there's freedom for my soul
In you there joy, unending joy
and I will follow
Where you stay, I'll stay
When you move, I'll move
I will follow...
All your ways are good
All your ways are sure
I will trust in you alone
Higher than my sight
High above my life
I will trust in you alone
Where you go, I'll go
Where you stay, I'll stay
When you move, I'll move
I will follow you
Who you love, I'll love
How you serve I'll serve
If this life I lose, I will follow you
I will follow you
Light unto the world
Light unto my life
I will live for you alone
You're the one I seek
Knowing I will find
All I need in you alone, in you alone
In you there's life everlasting
In you there's freedom for my soul
In you there joy, unending joy
and I will follow

What Do You Know of Calvary Love?
“If a sudden jar can cause me to speak an impatient, unloving word, then I know nothing of Calvary love. For a cup brimful of sweet water cannot spill even one drop of bitter water, however suddenly jolted.”
~ Amy Carmichael
Read this on Ann's blog today, and it really got me thinking. Conviction! WOW. One of those moments.
Those little incidents in life where you don't always react in the way that you should. I want them to be fewer and further between. I want to have less of me and more of Him. Be more of a light in a dark world. I need to remember this quote ~ I think I will put it on my fabric board.
"Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks."
"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty."

Give Thanks ~ With a Grateful Heart
In all things give thanks.
I have read many of the posts on "Multitudes on Mondays" for a year or more now, and thought it was time that I began my own list of Gratitude. We may acknowledge our blessings, but to write them on paper, no matter how small, is such a great way to really understand how blessed we each are. The tiny moments that are often overlooked in the hustle and bustle of our days. These are the things ~ the moments ~ that I want to remember. The little things that make up the moments of our days, each moment is a blessing in itself. And the things that fill those moments . . . true gifts.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Colossians 3:17
Gratitude ~
1. The gift of Grace ~
2. A loving God who knows us each intimately
3. A hard~working husband who loves me and our children dearly, loves the Lord and strives to live for Him and in all ways acknowledges Him
4. Four healthy, happy children. All different personalities and all a joy in their own way
5. A warm home, especially on these cold winter night
6. Provision
7. Health
8. Good friends that love unconditionally and lift you up, encourage, pray for you, share the Word with you and are always there
9. Today, especially thankful for the warm fireplace
10. Hot coffee on a cold morning
11. A sauna before bed
12. An afternoon spent with my husband ~ just doing errands, but enjoying our time together
13. A house full of teenagers
14. An unexpected visit from a friend
15. A cart full of groceries
16. A Sunday message that reminds us to reach out and be a light

When Mom Stays Home . . . .
This is one of the critters my kids came home with on Saturday. You just never know what they will show up with when they go away with Dad.
They were invited to a huge chicken show by a friend that raises and shows chickens. It was about a two hour drive. I stayed home and worked on catering. Apparently there were about 3,000 chickens there so I guess I should be happy that they came home with only 6 new "pets".
The positive side for me . . . .anywhere they go, it turns into a report or a project for their schooling.

A Small, Still Voice
And he [the Lord] said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind and earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake:
And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.-- I Kings 19: 11-12 (KJV)
Although we always wait for Him to speak to us in a miraculous shout, I need to remember to listen for a small, still voice. That voice that speaks to my heart.

My Heart is Yours
You wont relent until you have it all
My heart is Yours [x2]
I'll set You as a seal
upon my heart
As a seal upon my heart
For there is love that is as strong as death
Jealousy demanding as the grave
Many waters can not quench this love
You wont relent until you have it all
My heart is Yours [x2]
I'll set You as a seal
upon my heart
As a seal upon my arm
For there is love that is as strong as death
Jealousy demanding as the grave
Many waters can not quench this love
You wont relent until you have it all
My heart is Yours [x2]
Come be a the fire inside of me
Come be the flame upon my heart
Come be a the fire inside of me
Until You and I are one [x4]
My heart is Yours [x2]
I'll set You as a seal
upon my heart
As a seal upon my heart
For there is love that is as strong as death
Jealousy demanding as the grave
Many waters can not quench this love
You wont relent until you have it all
My heart is Yours [x2]
I'll set You as a seal
