I read this quote this morning and thought that it was important to post it, and for me to remember it. I don't want to ever lose that hunger. It's my prayer today that I can remember this truth below, and walk in it daily.

A Few More Wedding Images

Deja Vu

Yesterday morning I was upstairs when i heard a huge, loud crash downstairs. I thought possible a large picture fell of the wall, or maybe the basement door slammed shut from the wind.
I went to investigate and found nothing. When I got to the kitchen and looked out the slider, this is what I found.


Apparently the wind sucked the open umbrella out of the table, in the process, shattering the glass table. Sigh. At least the slider was open, maybe the glass on that would of shattered from the flying umbrella. This was a spare table I had bought years ago. Looks like I will be searching for one with TILE on top:)

Blueberry Picking

We went blueberry picking today. It was the perfect day for it. Not too hot, a nice breeze, and the picking was AMAZING. Couldn't stop!

Walk In His Ways

Copper Roof . . . .Done!

The copper roof was put on our gazebo a couple of weeks ago. We love how it looks!

Wedding Pictures

Photographed a wedding today. Had a great time with my friend, Tim. He has taught me a lot of tricks and technical aspects of photography.
What a beautiful day for an outdoor wedding. There was a great breeze most of the day, to keep us a bit cooler. The wedding was near the water, under a birch arbor covered with flowers. Haven't had a chance to do any editing, but here are a few tease shots:) Congratulations Lesley and Matt!

One of Those Things

So, last week while getting ready for our party, I asked one of the kids to get our umbrella from the basement and put it in the table on the deck. Soon after, unnamed child, came into the dining room apologizing. Now, let me first ask, do these things happen to everyone? lol. When you are in the midst of your busiest times? Hmmmmmm. So this is what I saw when I went out to the deck:




In all fairness, it was very hot, and the glass crackled and popped for a long time after breaking, so I think just the base of the umbrella gently bumping was all it took. Just a day in the life:)
