THAT is the hard part for me! LOL. It is our choice to make the Godly choice in our circumstances.
If our Heavenly Father has forgiven us, even when we may not be deserving, then who are we to not practice forgiveness.
The first step is forgiving and then praying that you have truly left it, and if there is no reconciiation, I guess that is when we have to shake the dust from our feet. But move on without bitterness, and knowing that it is all part of His plan for our lives, and we can always learn something from it! And it may not be all about us. It may be about God showing the offender something through the situation or through us. But there can be a lesson in it for all.Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12594600922161423804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5837511907451899811.post-32698723730267444322010-10-08T10:03:17.079-04:002010-10-08T10:03:17.079-04:00This is a difficult, but important lesson to learn...This is a difficult, but important lesson to learn, my friend. The first step is to say it out loud and then you must make a daily decision to walk it out. The reason that people hurt us and steal our joy so easily is because we care for them. If we did not it would not matter. Forgiveness is ultimately a choice. A choice that keeps poisonous roots from taking hold in our hearts. First it is a foothold then it becomes a stronghold. You will have to make your mind and heart line up with scripture and do the Godly thing even if you feel the Godly thing is not being done. I am proud of you for taking steps in a rigt direction and hearing what God has to say to you on this matter. Love you!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04927910119346945805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5837511907451899811.post-6100230323777524572010-10-08T07:49:15.038-04:002010-10-08T07:49:15.038-04:00Amen!
